BRUCE BANG
IS A RECORD
PRODUCER +
MIX ENGINEER
IN HOUSTON, TEXAS

Bruce Bang has been a cornerstone of Houston’s Hip Hop and R&B scene—and a trusted creative force across the music industry—for over 25 years. As a Grammy-nominated, Billboard-charting, and Gold-certified Producer and Mix Engineer, Bruce has worked alongside multi-Platinum artists such as Baby Bash, Miguel, George Clinton, Frankie J, Paul Wall, and Day 26, while also collaborating with Grammy-winning producers like Lab Ox, Street Symphony, and Happy Perez.

His versatile credits also include rising stars like MKY Mikey Jimenez, currently featured on this season of American Idol, showcasing Bruce’s continued commitment to nurturing new talent.

Most recently, Bruce served as the Head Recording Engineer for Usher’s historic Super Bowl 58 Halftime Show, working under Music Directors Iz and Bobby Avila to help bring one of the most iconic live music performances to life. His engineering work was also featured on Usher’s Grammy-nominated album Coming Home, contributing to the track "Naked" on the Expanded Edition.

Bruce’s engineering discography continues to expand, recently earning a Gold Plaque for his work on Megan Thee Stallion’s Traumazine album, specifically recording the high-powered "Southside Royalty Freestyle".

He is currently the Head Engineer at Wineberg Studios, Houston’s flagship Dolby Atmos facility, and Co-Owner of the legendary iMIX Houston Studios, continuing to provide world-class sound to both chart-topping artists and rising stars alike.

With a career that spans everything from major SSL studios in Los Angeles to intimate home setups, Bruce approaches every session with unmatched professionalism, attention to detail, and a producer’s creative intuition.

“Whether it’s adding musical breaks, special effects, or pitch correction, my goal is always to enhance the song and highlight the artist’s vision. Every record I touch gets the care it deserves to truly shine.”

In 2025, Bruce Bang is taking his creative legacy to new heights with the launch of Slow-Fi Chronicles, a multimedia project fusing music, storytelling, and Houston culture. The project kicks off with the release of Slow-Fi Chronicles Vol. 1—dropping exclusively on Even.biz on March 26, 2025, with a wider streaming release set for April 20, 2025. The hybrid rollout includes limited-edition USB drives, visuals, and upcoming merch all designed to engage fans directly.

As a newly inducted Recording Academy member and a leader in immersive audio and cinematic storytelling, Bruce Bang continues to break new ground—building community, amplifying originality, and helping the next generation of artists release their best work.
